Inertial device is indispensable apparatus in inertial navigation system (INS). Its precision influences directly on the precision of INS. Increasing the precision of inertial devices is a major subject for discussion in the present filed of the inertial technique. The precision of inertial device is influenced not only by manufacturing craft, structure designing but also by environment term for testing and working. There are two main factors in many factors those influence the inertial devices. One is base moving;the other is temperature changing and electromagnetism disturbing. Temperature changing is one of main factors that limit to improve its precision for inertial device now and future. In order to improve the inertial devices precision even more, the temperature error must be modeled and compensated.This text carries on the experiment, modeling and compensation to the temperature error in the flexuous gyro and accelerometer of the strapdown inertial navigation system. The fiexuous gyro and accelerometer is DTG and Quartz-flex accelerometer. This text carries on the analysis to the temperature effect on the DTG and Quartz-flex accelerometer for many sides. And use existing condition, design experiment. To get the data, we have experimented on the DTG and Quartz-flex accelerometer under various environmental temperatures. Put in order, compare, analyses it on the basis of data gathered, adopt based on the BP neural network model carry on method that data fit is it study temperature impact on error relation to come, thus set up error model then compensate. Through the extrapolation experiment and the interpolation experiment confirms the model rationality. Therefore, this model is valuable to the practical application of DTG and Quartz-flex accelerometer.
