The packer is a kind of subsurface tool which is widely used in oil and gas well exploitation. The function of the packer is to realize layering working. Function of slip, whose performance influences directly on oil well yield and productive safety, is supporting packer and locking rubber after anchoring. Along with the further exploitation of oil and gas well, the condition of the subterranean formation becomes more and more complicate and the layering working becomes more and more prevalent, so requirement on the packer is more and more strict. The failure of well packer system happens frequently, which produces economic loss.Considering the conditions above, the stress analysis and strength check are carried out on the packer and the regularities of distribution of snap in force between the packer and the casing pipe is studied in this paper in order to provide instructions to the optimum design of the packer slip. The purpose of this paper research is to provide experimental foundation and theoretical reference for the improvement of the operational reliability and provide reference for the development and employment of the packer. |
