In our country, the progress of high -rise building structure is very rapid with modernization of the city .The increasing height, complex configuration and all-around requirement of the high-rise building demand the higher analytical- capability and the better design- technique to the high-rise building. To simulate practical force-capability of the high-rise building more accurately, the method which is used to study the structure-foundation-soil interaction is used to the engineering practice. This method makes that the analysis and design of high-rise building structure is improved to higher degree. Now, the interaction method involves the substructure method and finite element method etc, but these methods have much weakness, for example, too much calculation workload and being hard to deal with border of soil. So, to some extent, these methods limit that interaction method is applied.In 1973, the infinite element method was set up, and this method which constructs mapping function makes that the border of element may extend infinitely. This method is fit to the calculation of infinite region question of rock and soil. Because the infinite element is used to simulate the border, the weakness what finite element calculation requiring enough region result in too much accounting workload is conquered. On the other hand, infinite element can simulate infinite diffuseness of stress in soil, and this method can reduce the error what is arise by artificial boundary. The application of infinite element method is restricted, because development of the method may not be consummate.In the paper, with using the finite/infinite element coupling method, the structure-foundation-soil coupling model is set up. Through the infinite element of boundary and finite element of soil become coupling, the interaction analysis to the high-rise building structure is realized. The analytic program is used to the static analysis and dynamic analysis of high-rise building structure. Through comparing coupling result with finite element result, it is validated that finite/infinite element coupling method is accurate and economical, and its effect is distinct. At the same time, to apply this model to the practice, the parameter of model is study in the paper. With studying the different parameter of different model, the finite area of foundation of coupling model is made certain. The prime parameter makes calculation model to be set up availably in practical analysis, the prime equilibrium of precision and workload is carried out.
