The paper describes the method of monitoring the humiture of thearmored equipment storehouse using the humiture sensor, which is exploredon the foundation of the field bus and low-cost automation technology.During the period of the research, we defined a kind of low- cost fieldacquisition bus. The most important virtue of the technology is low cost andfar transmitting distance. To meet the requirement of the task, we havesolved several problems as follows:We have extended the original protocol,and added the control function to the acquisition bus. To tackle the problemof long distance transmission, we have analyzed the disturbing conditionand redesigned the interface of the acquisition bus and the humiture sensor.To implement the control function of the bus, we have designed thecontroller.Under the precondition of solving the above problems, we haveprogramed the acquisition controller software, and completed a systemwhich can monitor 2048 points and can transmit the signal to a place as faras 5 to 10 kilometers. We have finished a prototype and obtained some testdata, which demonstrated that the system can meet the challenge of theengineering of the armored equipment storehouse humiture monitoring.Weconfidently say that the system will be used broadly in the domain oflow-cost automatization.
