The security problem of the vehicles always can attract the public attention. When the vehicles which are going have the collision, if the kinetic energy can not be diffused in instantaneous, it will certainly cause heavy losses. Therefore carrying on the impact simulation analysis and doing the optimization design which based on the collision simulation results for the energy absorption structure both have the theory significance and the application value in the design stage.At present, the design ideas of the vehicle which is against collision mainly have two kinds: The energy absorption area and the vehicle integrate completely together (A kind); Integrated the vehicle by the power-absorbing structure using the mechanical coupling assembles bolt (B kind).This article chooses the two kinds of aluminum subway vehicles which adopted the two kinds of design methods as the research objects, the thesis mainly researched on some aspects, as follows:First, based on the characteristic research of the finite element model which will be used in collision simulation analysis and the vehicle structure shape and size, separately established two kinds of subway vehicles collision simulation models .The models are established by using the I-DEAS software .In the modeling process, scientific and reasonably simplify the non-big deformation band of the structure and simplify the elastic deformation region to rigid body, controlling the simulation model the grid quality and the smallest unit size to reduce solution scale.Next, through the research of I-DEAS and ANSYS/LS-DYNA and the FEM model connection construction of data, inducting two kinds of subway vehicle collision simulation models into ANSYS/LS-DYNA .Then carrying on the impact simulation analysis based on the vehicle designed by some company. According to the simulation results, the new design is proposed .Through the simulation of the corrected vehicle, the results indicate: the plastic big distortion only occurs in the non-passenger area, simultaneously, the deformation process is stable, and didn't appear the jitter phenomenon.Finally, proposed an optimization design method which organically integrate modeling software I-DEAS, collision software ANSYS/LS-DYNA and multi-disciplinary optimized software iSIGHT together. This method defers to the iSIGHT semantics request, defines the optimized goal, the design variable and the constraint condition after the first success collision simulation in ANSYS/LS-DYNA model batch file. Then using certain optimization plan to carry on the optimized design. Using this method in B kind of subway vehicle energy absorption structure to carry on the optimized design, the results indicate that the absorption energy structure after optimization is reasonable.
