| In this paper, we begin with a project of bridge examination in Tangshan city, in Hebei province. It is a simple beam concrete bridge with holes. We will give an evaluation of load-bearing capacity of this bridge after an examination and a FEM analysis to the bridge. First, we get the examination report of the bridge after an examination. Then, according to the design papers, we set the model of the bridge in the computer (And we can use the examination data of the real bridge or the theories of the bridge design). We setting load to the control sections. Comparing the results calculated by the computer with the report, we give an evaluation of the current load-bearing capacity of the bridge. Then, according to the design papers and the fact, we list two kinds of method of reinforcement. At the end, according to the reinforcement plan, we set the model of the bridge reinforced. First, we kill the elements of reinforcement and set load to the control sections. Then we kill the elements of concrete the strains of which is over 0.002. Second, we relive the elements of reinforcement and set load to the control sections. At the end, we give an evaluation of the load-bearing capacity of the bridge reinforced.Above all, we make a conclusion that:1. After the test by using ultrasonic rebound and we calculate that the compressive strength of the beam is fcd = 18.34MPa.It goes with the codes.2. Compare the results of dynamic test with the value of theoretical calculation. The dynamic stiffness is beyond the demand of the codes. The displacement and strain of the beam are also beyond the demand of the codes.3. We choose the reinforcement named prestressed concrete with bonded tendon after analysis.4. Being reinforced by the method of prestressed concrete with bonded tendon, the load-bearing of the beam is improved 41.47% over the original beam. |
