Mechatronic technology developed fast with society and science technology advanced. mechatronic product is accepted by the people. How to design product that accord with society requirement with low cost and little time is the key problem for the enterprise developing. In the product design, conceptual design is the most important part of the design process.The creation of conceptual design is a higher-level creation in prime phase. Current scheme design of mechatronic system basically depends on designer's experience .Current method has not become a scientific design method. In the innovating design of the mechatronic , how to turn the experience-design into scientific design method that follows a certain theory becomes a key factor in mechatronic design. In the process of conceptual design of mechatronic, design theories as TRIZ , axiomatic design, Pahl and Beitz theory, QFD and so on are same with conceptual design of mechatronic. This article integrates these theories to establish a method for conceptual design of mechatronic. This article applies these methods to dropping pill machine .Main research work is embodied in the following three aspects:1. Establish ameliorating model for conceptual design of mechatronic. This model starts from function-structure of presenting product ,turns the function-structure to function-structure matrix, analyses the technology using in the function unit to achieve function-structure-technology matrix, integrates with QFD to find conflict of the technology, finally, use TRIZ to solve the conflict.2. Establish whole model for conceptual design of mechatronic. Consumer-requirements model for conceptual design of mechatronic and apply the axiomatic design in the function decomposing has been put forward in the article.3. Establish control system model for conceptual design of mechatronic. This model include three parts: first, choice of control scheme; second, research on control property of the function model; third, apply axiomatic design in the program design. Researching on control property of the function model is an innovation, logic-control diagram and control flow chart of function unit has been put forward to express control property of the function model. Control property of function model supports the program design.
