The Study Of Virtual Realization Based On 3D Road GIS

It is not enough that the question such as computation, cartography, scheduling in survey design is solved by the traditional CAD system. The question that such as geology, hydrology, transportation, environment, meteorological and management of road data is difficult to be solved. With the development of the informationization of survey design, it is urgently awaits question to be solve that how to realize the three dimensional dynamic roaming.Based on the study of technology of 3D Road Components GIS, the question of road 3D GIS in the Digital Orthophoto Map(DOM) data, the Digital Elevation Model data (DEM) and oad geometry model data processing is solved. The road DEM model and the road geometry model modeling theory and the method has also been discussed and studied, then suitable method to applies the Grid to DEM and the construction solid geometry (CGS) to road geometry model in 3D GIS modeling is proposed. The road landscape model which is composed by three kind of models is established.Based on the project and using the comGIS technology, a 3D Road GIS has been established by Visual Basic which has realized the road position inquiry, the road attribute inquiry, the road peripheral terrain inquiry, the virtual roaming and so on. By the way, the project is road section K215+000-K237+000 of country road No 301.
