The riverside is often the most attractive place in the city; its landscape construction and land exploitation are the hot spot paid attention by the government and the investor. How to plan the land along the riverside reasonably, model favorable river landscape and ecological environment, and realize the multiplication benefits at the same time, this is the important task faced by waterfront city. The small city with well-developed river exist problems that the development of economy are relatively backward and rivers ecological environment are relatively fragile. So the research on this task is more important and urgent.The thesis takes the small city with well-developed river as the main research object. Through investigating the present situation of land utilization and landscape construction along the riverside, analyzing all sorts of questions, reconsidering the condition which under the multi-department division of vertical each construction behavior strips mutually in current construction, proposes establishing a set of comprehensive planning to river space, green space, transportation space and city constructional land along riverside, and achieve the goal about"using landscape optimization land utilization, using land reasonable promotion landscape quality".The concrete research contents are as follows:(1)Combining the existing definition of"urban waterfront", the thesis puts forward the concept of"city's riverside", explains the characteristics of land utilization and landscape along riverside in small city, reviews the past development about land utilization and landscape along riverside, and contrasts correlation research between domestic and foreign.(2)In view of present situation about land utilization and landscape along riverside in small city , the thesis elaborates the question in detail from the value orientation, plan method and management control. This is the research direction in the thesis.(3)Combining the reconsidering about present situation, the thesis researches function constitution of the riverside, explicit the system value orientation about land utilization and landscape construction in small city. Through discriminating the intrinsic relations between the two, exemplifying by some projects, the thesis proposes establishing a set of comprehensive planning including land utilization and landscape construction.
