The Track Study On Urban Human Settlements Construction In Chongqing In The Past Decade(1997-2007)

1997—the year in which Chongqing became Municipality, therefore the master planning of Chongqing was modified because of the important changes in city development policies; 2005—the year in which the master planning of Chongqing was modified again under the direction of new conception, because after the eight years'effort and attempt on city construction according to last version of master planning, the human settlements construction of urban area achieved remarkable accomplishment; 2007—it is the 10th year since Chongqing municipalized.Aiming at summarizing the achievement and deficiencies of former work to explore the integrated optimizing concept of city public space construction in the future, the thesis investigates and studies on the conception, methods and trends of the construction of public space in main urban Chongqing in the past decade.The study on public space construction in urban Chongqing in the past decade focuses on public space quality and the need of construction subjects from the aspect of designers, emphasizes the improvement of urban space quality, activities places and ecology environment in the course of city planning and design.
