The reasons for this phenomenon include its passenger and developer attractiveness, its high performance and quality, and its ability to be built quickly, and economically. BRT also provides sufficient transport capacity to meet demands in many corridors, ever in the largest metropolitan regions.Further researches of Exclusive Bus Lane have been done in the paper. The original problems about BRT have also been analyzed, including the option of the type of exclusive bus lane (median reservation or road-side reservation), better BRT station location (at approach or exit), and traffic signal prioritization and so on. At the end of the paper, the above-mentioned viewpoints are verified by the research of the Wangjiang Road BRT system (median reservation) and the simulation software of VISSIM.The level of the BRT research in our country is now improved, and lots of valuable experiences about the planning of the BRT are also provided.
