In the world there exists such a group of persons,maybe, this group is not a completely characteristic or unified divided crowd. The people in this group are few. But their consumption quality and amounts have taken most of the social wealth. Maybe one of them has taken the sum of the consumption of a common group people. And this high end consumption tendency is more and more forceful. So we designers must keep an eye on how to satisfy their consumption needs, how to guide their consumption. Environment problems caused by the luxury consumption must be afforded by them too. Products being created by design are to serve our people. The cause why design exists is also for beautifying people's environment, improving the quality of people's life. It is our goal to make the design not only to sever our people, but also more helpful to our environment.Firstly, this paper introduces the background, the purpose and the meaning of the research on product design to the high end consumption crowd. Secondly, the paper discusses the high end consumption people's needs and intentions from expense psychology and behavior study angle. With our ear's developing, our consumers'needs and thoughts have changed. They are represented by the naissance of"New Luxury". The appearance of"New Luxury"has brought our high end consumption to a higher level. At the same time, it foretells the high emotional and sensibility consumption time's coming.After the second chapter, the paper brings the role actor and discusses the features,the emotional needs and ways to divide these people systematically. The product design model for the high end consumption people is elicited. On the basis of that, it sums up some evaluating factors for the model and brings environment protection into our design theory.The fourth part of this paper makes a sound box design specifically for high end consumption crowd between 25 and 45-year-old for the example. It verifies the feasibility in applying this analysis to concrete product design finally, by the fact of applying the analysis into real product design process.
