This dissertation makes a thorough investigation on the current situation of crown gear coupling for subway. After investigation, it was found out that the studies on crown gear coupling are few in commercial railway in China. Now most of couplings in subway are imports. Because of this situation, this paper carries through a series of researching work and brings through the project of crown gear coupling design. A crown gear coupling was manufactured, and then some experiments about crown gear coupling was done on test-bed. The test result showed out that the designed crown gear coupling is met to the buyer's requirement.The main jobs of this paper are shown as follows:(1) Given a thorough investigation on the current situation of crown gear couplings by using preterit data, and which is good or bad is found out. The key point of crown gear coupling is given. The project of crown gear coupling is indicated.(2) Some experiments about material of crown gear coupling were done. Through the experiments, the good technics material is found. Calculated and analyzed the intensity of crown gear coupling by using the compiled software and the Software I-DEAS. To verify the rationality, a crown gear coupling was manufactured.(3) Idle load test and simulate load test are done on the test-bed of traction gear. The test result showed out that the designed crown gear coupling is met to the buyer's requirement. |
