The classroom is not only the place that teachers have lessons, but alsothe place that students learn their knowledge. The poor quality ofclassrooms' acoustics has a direct effect on students' learning efficiency andthe health of the physiology and psychology. And that it indirectly reflectsthe difference of various teaching level.Progress in classroom acoustics research is reviewed in this thesis.Calculation methods for parameter evaluation are introduced. Approachesfor improving the auditory environment in classrooms are presented. Theacoustical conditions in classrooms appear to have attracted worldwideattention. This thesis's work is that the acoustical quality of classrooms isevaluated, three acoustical parameters have been investigated: intensy indexG, reverberation time and speech intelligibility C50.Seven tipical classrooms of Guangxi University were chosen and thereverberation time ( EDT, T10,T20, T30) in different points were measured. The acoustical characteristics of 7 university classrooms at the someUniversity were measured and 11 points were discussed in detail here.By analyzed quantificationally, the results is given: as the largeclassroom (e.g. The amphitheatre of Civil Engineering And ArchitectureDepartment) which was furnished by absorption materials is better than other classrooms (e.g. The amphitheatre of department of MechanicalEngineering); the little classrooms with small depth are better than largedepth. Finally, the application of grey relational analysis was employed toevaluate the sound quality of the classrooms. |
