At present, the domestic street lamp monitor and control system and the airdrome navaid lightscontrol system each has its corresponding products, but their automatization and network degree are low, the failure orientation and checking ability of them are weak. The advertisement lights and sight lights in a building or an enterprise don't have the corresponding network control products, they are absolute control systems. There are street lamps, advertisement lights, sight decorating lights and navaid lights etc in the airdrome, each of them has its own management system and belongs to different management department. So it's urgent to increase the management efficacy, economize management cost, improve service quality and reduce the energy sources consuming for the airdrome. So the airdrome needs a network product which can manages the all the lights uniformly, monitors and checks all the failure in time and orients the failure source to replace all the present products. This work can improve the service quality and manage ability of the enterprise to a new level. From the uniform management of the several lights with different properties in the airdrome, this paper describes the characteristics of monitoring and controlling objects, methods of monitoring and controlling and the strategy of realization theoretically. At the same time, this paper demonstrates the resorts and methods of realization. This paper also achieves the hardware circuit and software development. The practice demonstrates that the system can behave well in the uniform management and maintenance of the lights with different characteristics in the airdrome and reach the original design requirements.
