HV storage capacitor, which is widely used in weapon, is the common device in pulse power system. High reliability must be required because of its special used situation. Work mode of this type capacitor is DC charge and pulse discharge. But because of some reason of manufacture, some insulation defect will cause partial discharge in high electrical field and at last insulation fail. However, the employed evaluation methods can not detect defects in capacitors that do great harm to lifespan of them.Partial discharge (PD) contains abundant information of dielectric and insulation. And the parameters of PDs can reveal insulation defects efficaciously. Thus, that to indicate insulation situation in capacitors according to analyses of PD under DC condition (DCPD) has practical meaning to improve reliability of impulse power system, and contributes to factory testing methods. Now there is no DC partial discharge detect and analysis system of HV storage capacitor in china. In classical PD detect system, at first data is saved in file mode, then data is read from files to do statistics. Data maintenance and sharing is difficult in this method and partial discharge trend can not be effectual gained. So the insulation state of capacitor can not be diagnosed. This dissertation aims to have a primary probe into questions mentioned above. At first PD in AC and DC mode is analyzed and At parameter is introduced. So statistic method in AC can be used in DC mode. Then emulation of denoising method is presented based on the noise in DCPD detect environment. Acquisition and analysis system is designed, including data acquisition client and data analysis client. Lastly, using the system some defect capacitor is detected and results is analyzed.
