The maglev technology, a new-tech emerged in 20th century, has been progressed a lot in recent years. It is widely applied in transportation, metallurgy, mechanism, electrical equipments and material researches. The maglev train, a new railway vehicle without friction, is one successful and important application of maglev-tech. However, as for traditional EMS, the energy loss cannot be ignored, because of the resistance in normal conductor. With the rappid development of the HTS(High Temperature Superconductor), HTS EMS-tech has a bright prospect. In this new type of EMS , energy loss can be much lower than the traditional normal-conductor EMS, because of zero-resistant effect. In this paper, the single-magnet dynamic moldle of the pure HTS EMS is built and the basic theory of the system is discussed. According to practical experiment appliance, the single-magnet HTS EMS moldle magnetic analysis is done based on ANSYS, the critical current of the HTS coil is discussed. The simulation results will provide significant references to the experiment. The control parameters for experiement system are designed according to PID control strategy. The simulation based on the simlink dictates the stability of the HTS EMS , and the challenge of the HTS EMS is presented,as well. Then , a series of hardware circuits centered around suspention controller based DSP F2812 is designed, including main circuit, signal processing circuit, ect. Finally, the single-magnet HTS EMS experiment based on the HTS EMS experiment platform developed by the maglev-tech institute of SWJTU has been done. The stable suspention with a certain gap is realized. The feasibility of HTS EMS-tech is proved. With the further development of the HTS, applying HTS EMS-tech in maglev train will have a bright prospect.
