The dissertation researches on the PMSM vector control system using Extended Kalman Filtering (EKF) algorithm. The main contents are as follows:Firstly, briefly introducing Coordinate transformation thought, PMSM Model in the static coordinate system and the revolving coordinate system and Vector Control principle. Based on the model, the sensorless PMSM vector control speed adjustment is discussed.Secondly, the thesis emphasizes the illustration of the principle of the EKF and it's application in the system, deduced the EKF equations of PMSM in the static coordinate system and the revolving coordinate system. The control diagram is provided, and some optimized methods are proposed. The simulation model of the Vector Control system of PMSM based on the EKF is established and the application of the sensorless in motor control is successfully realized. The reasonability and validity of the EKF programmer in the motor control have been testified by the simulation results.Lastly, this paper uses the Motorola 56F8346 Digital Signal Processor (DSP) as the core of the motor control. The main structures of the software and handware are introduced. The main functional blocks are illustrated. To the hardware, each part of the control circuit and the design of the peripheral circuits are thoroughly discussed. The control software is being programmed with C. The flow charts of main program and PWM interrupt service routine are given.The program is being debugged in the IDE of Metrowerks Codewarrior so as to test the correctness of the system design.
