Simulation Study On Production Flow In Airport

Airport is an important constitution of the air transportation system. Recently, as the fast development of air transportation industry, the scope of the airport is becoming larger and the production operation system is getting more complex. So the managers of the airport can't adjust their operational strategy timely according to the external variational conditions to make the operation of the airport best. The research on the simulation of airport production flow is an important way to improve the programming design and the management of the airport. A simulation model of the airport production flow is built up in this dissertation. We study the production flow of the airport by the model experiment. The main contents of the dissertation are as follows:First, we introduce the development of the airport simulation and its application at home and abroad. The production flow of the airport and the simulation software of Service Model are also introduced.Second, we study the simulation of the production flow of the airport.Third, we build up the simulation model of the departure flow of the passengers on the terminal building by the Service Model. The service efficiency of the flow is analyzed and the advice for the flow optimization is given.Fourth, we build up the simulation model of the arrival and departure flow of the aircrafts and analyze the operation efficiency of that flow.Fifth, we perform the experiment of the simulation model which simulates the departure flow of the passengers and evaluate the service quality and the capability of the terminal building.
