In this paper, a calculation program of thermodynamic and physical parameters of blend R410A was made. The theoretical refrigeration and heat pump cycles of a air-conditioner using R410A were calculated. A steady model for R410A DC inverter room air-conditioner has been set up and the reliability of the model was verified by experiment. With this model, the steady performance of R410A DC inverter room air-conditioner has been researched.Three conclusions are gotten. Firstly, when the temperature, humidity of indoor and outdoor keep constant, the cooling capacity and consumed power will decrease with lower frequency, but the EER will increase. The R410A DC inverter room air-conditioner runs at low frequency with higher efficiency, which is the main reason of energy-saving. Secondly, when the indoor temperature, indoor humidity and outdoor relative humidity keep constant, the R410A DC inverter room air-conditioner runs steadily with the changed outdoor dry bulb temperature. Thirdly, when other parameters keep constant and the indoor wet bulb temperature is lower than a certain value, the change of indoor wet bulb temperature has little influence on the performance of the R410A DC inverter room air-conditioner. But when the indoor wet bulb temperature exceed this value, the influence on it is remarkable. Because the R410A DC inverter room air-conditioner runs such short time in that condition practically that the influence is not remarkable.
