As a new technology of side slope reinforcement,soil nailing Support is being widely used, for its low Standard-Cost,quick construction,widely apply scope. But the parametric of the soil-nailing support design is exceedingly complex, which is caused by variability properties of soil. Because of all Parametric of soil nailing Support which designed according to imaginary sliding plane,most design results are strait and one-sided ,though studies on design of soil nailing has done more by domestic and international.Firstly, the article defines peculiarity of the soil-nailing support structure,apply scope,history, development and its study -actuality.Secondly,it concludes principle,content,procedure and the value taken form experiences of the soil-nailing support design, on the base of initial research on Working Principle of it.In the end,it concludes present soil nailing designed and optimal design methods in common use, then analyzes the advantage and disadvantage of them. According to deduced folded line -discrimination models and combined with energy theories of soil pressure,the article deduces and processes soil nailing designed method base on energy theories.
