The seepage problem of concrete face rock-fill dam (CFRD) built on alluvium deposits is more complicated than CFRD built on rock. The seepage characteristics of dam body and foundation should be analyzed synthetically. The main points of this dissertation are listed as follows.(1) The characteristics of CFRD built on alluvium deposits is studied, the water pressure and aging component are deduced, then the seepage monitoring model of CFRD built on alluvium deposits is established.(2) The back analysis method combining BP neural network with numerical method is studied, the inversion model of seepage is established. The time-varying characteristic of permeability coefficient is quantified.(3) The influence factors of seepage of CFRD built on alluvium deposits are analyzed. The evolvement rule influenced by these factors is studied. The variation feature is distinguished by three methods.(4) According to Nalan CFRD, the seepage characteristic is analyzed. Based on monitoring data, the monitoring model and inversion model are established. The seepage stability and impervious effect of Nalan CFRD are appraised. The availability of the two models is testified.
