The probability design method for asphalt pavements has considered the factors in the actual project such as structural design, construction, materials, vehicle load, climates and so on, which produces indefinite influence to the asphalt pavements, so this method obtains the widespread value in our country. At the same time, the quality control process also should consider the influence of all kinds of uncertain factors to the asphalt pavements, fully attaches importance to the status of the reliability management in the TQM (Total Quality Management), and enables the quality control process to have more flexibility. This paper is for the purpose of studying the application of reliability quality control ways corresponding to the reliability design method in the asphalt pavement construction process.First, this paper introduced the concept and computing method of asphalt pavement reliability. Then based on the existing asphalt pavement design method, reliability theory and computing method and the analysis of asphalt pavement construction process, the dynamic quality control method for asphalt pavement construction was proposed from the point of view of reliability quality management, and this method provides the supplement to Total Quality Management.Secondly, in order to obtain the valuable data for the asphalt pavement reliabity computing and construction control, this paper carried on statistic analysis to massive sample data of roadway structure parameters using the mathematical statistics method, and determined the probability distribution type and variation scope of asphalt pavement design parameters. Simultaneously, in refer to other literatures, a recommended database of parameter variability for pavement structures was established after the significance was set forth.From the point of view of simulation, this paper carried on the description of asphalt pavement life probability distribution from Monte Carlo simulating experiment using three-parameter Weibull function, and computing reliability. This method ameliorates the process of Monte Carlo simulating method for computing asphalt pavement reliability, insures the computing reliability efficiency, and thus greatly enhances the computation speed.Finally, after completing the method research, a computer software named"Danamic Control System for Asphalt Pavement Quality"was developed. The system takes the multilayer elastic system as the computation module using asphalt pavement each layer bottom fatigue tensile stress and road surface deflection as the control target, and is provided with C/S structure and developed by Visual C++, interface design technique and database technique. Using this system, the statistical analysis of pavement structural parameters can be carried out,the reliability of asphalt pavement structure can be estimated by using computer simulating, and the quality of pavement structure can be controlled dynamically and promptly. The system makes the pavement project construction quality control management dynamic, timeliness and aptitude.
