The Research Of Hilly City Residential Areas Walking System Planning Procedure

With the development of China city, some defects of metropolis in western countries come into existence in China, and social &natural environment deteriorates at a rapid pace, especially residential and traffic environment problems caused mainly by the development of motor vehicles. It is very important for hilly city of China to develop an applicable residential area traffic system, especially walking system. Considering the juvenility of research on our nation's hilly city residential area walking system design, it is urgent to develop an applicable residential area walking traffic design system for hilly city with the view of systematization and modularization. Based on the analysis of advanced residential area walking system designing theories and models, this dissertation discusses about the geographical, cultural, and civil planning actualities of hilly city in China. Oriented by systematic designing thought, this dissertation starts with traffic, greenbelt, and architectural function of hilly city, and summarizes plan design mode of residential area walking system in three level (macro-, middle-, and micro-scope), then brings forward Working Procedure Frame creatively. Based on that, this dissertation provides theoretic and methodological guidance for the construction of present residential area walking system with the drive of technique innovation and the support of policy &criterion. This dissertation includes three parts:The first part briefly introduces the background, significance, aim, method, relevant literature, concept, and basic frame of this dissertation.The second part mainly concerns the theoretic research on the application of systematic designing method, and includes the discussion about the traffic, landscaping, and architectural function actuality of hilly city, residential area and its inside.The third part is about the research on designing method and plan procedure. With the analysis of"macro to middle"and"middle to micro"level, the plan and design method of hilly city residential area walking system are improved, relevant plan procedure frame are summarized, and some political guidance and advice are brought forward with case studies.
