In the study on pumping station, pump stopping caused by normal reason or motive force will make water counter-current and result in pump reversing. When being serious, pump will be destroyed that could influence system running. Therefore, the study on dam locking becomes an important subject. The pumping station dam locking is the important project facility relating the safe operation of pumping station, affect directly the safe operation of unit and efficiency height of the pumping station. Flap valve is a common cut-off valve system, with the simple structure, the convenient service, rapid reliable, the cheap construction cost, obtains the widespread application in the middle and small scale pumping stations. But using the flap valve to block the flow has two big flaws: one side, the head loss of the exit is too great; the other side, heavy impact force can be often produced because of the hydraulic pressure and its own weight when the water pump shuts down, it is apt to jeopardize the structure of the pump valve and threaten the security of the hydraulic engineering works. Therefore the research on impact of flap valve is an important topic in the flap valve locking system.This article unified predecessor's research results, carried on the analysis on the stress to the pumping station and the opening angle of flap valve, influence between variables in the course of flap valve falling was quantitatively studied, has analyzed the hit process of flap valve using the energy method and the momentum method. Conducted the dynamic research using the stress wave method for the first time, calculated the diachronic of flap valve's first impact and the most biggest impact stress, and analyzed the stress rule in the process of flap valve's first impact; established the simplification model using the ANSYS software, when function load, the displacement and stress of the flap valve, the rubber and the steel change, thus calculated the model X, Y, the Z direction displacement isogram and the stress isogram, and obtained the node displacement extreme value and appears the position and the model stress extreme value and appears the position, microscopically reflect impacting process of flap valve.
