Amelioration Of Automatic Irradiation And Measure Control System For ReNAA

Neutron Activation Analysis(NAA) is a valid nuclear analytical technique, whichoccupy an important position in the chemical element analysis. However, theautomation and integration will to be the development direction of the NeutronActivation Analysis laboratory. Supported by International Atomic Energy Agency(IAEA) and National Natural Science Foundation of China, we designed the newirradiation and gamma spectrometry apparatus applying in Neutron ActivationAnalysis for China Advanced Research Reactor in the future. Now, using the part newapparatus, we improved the existing NAA laboratory device.In the new system for NAA, we mostly designed the Automatic IrradiationSystem and Automatic gamma spectrometry, etc. In this paper, on the basis of theprinciple and constitution of the system. The whole hardware and software design wasintroduced in details, including the Automatic Irradiation System, remote control,Automatic gamma spectrometry,, etc.In a word, it has three most traits as follows:(1) Irradiation System controlled in scene and apogee, has achieved automaticallyIrradiation, The system is simple, credibility and practical. As the same time, thesystem improve the efficiency and capability of NAA.(2) While gamma spectrometry, the interval from the detector to sample isautomatically adjusted, and changing sample is automatical. The gamma spectrometrysystem realize integrated control with stabilization.(3) The new whole system possibly improve the automation degree, makingoperation not to get in touch with radioactivity possibly, everything sets out from thepeople.Now, applying the part new apparatus in old NAA lab of Chinese atomic institute,we improved the existed NAA laboratory device. The system runs steading-going andachieve anticipative aim.
