| As a precursor in Yunnan architecture design, Gu Qi-wei has been engaged in local architecture design and reseach for 50 years in Yunnan and well acquaints the relationship between the local architecture and the local culture. He makes great progress in the development of Yunnan regional architecture. His thoughts and process will be introduced in this thesis.In the part one, the three aspects of Gu Qi-wei are presented: the career, the architecture and the design thoughts. Meanwhile, in the "double-marginal" situation, Gu's designs embodies the local awareness, which is the part of speciality and difference of Yunnan architects' thoughts.In the part tow, Gu Qi-wei's process is read in the background of the large-scale Yunnan architects, and which draw a conclusion that Yunnan local awareness is rooted in the development of Yunnan regional architecture from the analysis of Gu Qi-wei to other architects. And this local awareness includes not only "self-indentification" but also "self-criticism", which is "Yunnan local-architecture" theory but superficial comprehension.At last, "Yunnan local-architecture" theory is put forward in this thesis, which can direct local architecture design well. And so, there will be a fine prospect. |
