Nowadays electric business develops rapidly, people increasingly pay attention to the studies of electric tower foundation, while CAD software engaged for electric tower foundation design is relatively rare. Electric tower includes linear tower coner tower and terminal tower, the three kinds of towers contain following foundation forms:combined sink well foundation, digged foundation and pile foundation etc. people in design institute always design foundations by handwork. That greatly increases the amount of work, and is very inefficiently. Aim at this problem, studies a professional optimization design CAD system software of borepile foundation of Linear tower are made. The CAD system take the least of cost as final goal, take the diameter of foundation and the depth of foundation as variable and adopt efficient method named Grid Search to achieve aim.The system also employs the C/C++ programming technique under the Windows operating system, the MFC foundation class library, AutoCAD developing tool-Object ARX and other techniques. ObjectARX is a kindof brand-new AutoCAD scondary developing instrument usingobject-oriented method.It make secondary development of AutoCAD convenient and powerful with the aid of development environment of Visual C++. The system is established using the object-oriented programming method, it has relatively high stability and efficiency.This system has three modules, pre-process, core-process and post-process. the pre-process module mainly collects data using Windows standard controls and checks the validity of the data . the core-process module performs comprehensive analysis and calculation with the data. The post-process plots the shop drawings in the AutoCAD environment based on the data exported from the core-process module.
