According to the current situation that super-long large-diameter pile foundation is used widly in loess area and the theoretical studies of it are not enough,at the same time,in order to resolve contradictions between theoretical research and engineering practice of large diameter long pile in loess area so as to better apply theory to practice,load-bearing deformation mechanisms of super-long large-diameter drill-pouring pile foundation were studied intensively on three important parts,including theoretical research,model testing and numerical simulation.And some useful conclusions have been reached from this basis.I hope studies in this article would be great help and valuable reference to engineering practice in loess area.First of all,working mechanism and load-bearing deformation characteristics of single super-long large-diameter pile in loess area was analyzed systematically and theoretically. And the impact of different pile length,diameter and pile-soil modulus ratio on load-bearing performance and deformation behavior of single super-long large-diameter pile in loess area was given a numerical simulation and detailed analysis.This would provide a foundation for the follow-up studies on the super-long large-diameter pile foundation in loess area.Secondly,based on the principle of similarity theory,geotechnical model test studies on super-long large-diameter pile foundation in loess area were carried out.And based on the test results,detailed analysis were given,including settlement of pile groups,load shared by pile and soil,properties of each special pile under load,settlement characteristics of each measuring point under all load levers and so on.Finally,bearing capacities,deformation performances and settlement properties of super-long large-diameter pile foundation in loess area were given non-linear finite element analysis by means of large-scale finite element software.On this basis and through the means of model test and numerical analysis,load transport mechanism and laws,settlement deformation characteristics were analysed and compared systematically and respectively.
