| In recent years, the urbanization of cities is developing at top speed, large cities keep on expand continuously. Clustered cities layout, which has more advantages in adapting to rapidly development of big cities, is widely applied and popularized in the expansion of big cities. Clustered cities have higher requirements on the urban road network's hierarchy, mobility and reliability. Meanwhile, location theory and its internal application in cities have been attracted attention gradually, and many scholars devote themselves to combining location theory and urban traffic infrastructure. Viewing from researches abroad, the application and practical study of location theory is comparatively common, and there are many cases about kinds of location of cities. Our country also has begun research in this filed, but still rest on macro level. Based on these above, this thesis attempt s to convert the conventional methods in road network planning, and combine the location theory and road network planning theories, thereby to make a primary research on the planning of road network of clustered cities.Starting with the location theory, this thesis not only generally introduces some of the background knowledge, such as the conception of city location and traffic location, and the characteristic of traffic location and traffic location line, but also set forth the relationship between traffic location and urban road network planning. Secondly, this thesis analyses the classification of urban road and the configuration of road network briefly, and analyses the form progress of clustered cities with location theory, and makes a deep research on the layout mode, the traffic contact between clusters, etc. Thereby, this thesis has made a research on the planning methods of the road network of clustered cities. Finally, taking Chengdu as an example, this thesis has discussed the actual process of the clustered cities road network planning with location theory. |
