| Since entering the 21st century, higher education in our country has developed rapidly. So many "university cities" or "new campuses" were built in many areas of our country, that teaching buildings sprang up like mushrooms growth rise straight from the ground. Whether the teaching building interior space can satisfy teachers and students' requirements rises for an architect' s research topic. But in the teaching building interior space, the communicational space is an extremely important constituent.However, until now, there is few specialized research on the communicational space in university buildings in our country. Although there have been some articles about communicational space in the university campus, the majority put the emphasis point on the research of communicational space in the campus, but not in the building. When involved the interior communicational space, it is always so simple that having no process of investigation.This thesis attempts to start with observing the communicational behavior of the teachers and students in the teaching buildings of the university. Through analysis a lot of materials to research users' behavioral characteristic. I will use a series of methods—like observation, comparative law, analysis and Post Occupancy Evaluation, with theories like Environment Psychology, Communicational and Space to research on the types, characteristic and influence factors of communicational space in the university buildings. It can be a model for design in future through this process. |
