The limitation of using traditional damping facilities (such as spring, rubber gasket) of ship is usually produced, because it is only valid to reduce vibration in finite frequency scope. It is unsuitable to reduce vibration and great impact which are produced by facilities and underwater explosion simply depend on strength and stiffness of structure or conventional vibration dampers. So the article adopts multipled unit by MR damper and spring to reduce the vibration of ship. MR Damper is a kind of smart damper with large-force, rapid-response and low energy consummation which can be controlled actively through changing electric signal.This article mainly includes three parts: the research on numerical test, the vibration test and the impact test.The test of numerical value is mainly about the analysis of the mechanical model of basement of wire rope isolators and MR damper. The numerical simulations of dynamic characteristics of structure system and analysis of finite element are conducted, through analysis of finite element of wire rope isolators, the influence of variety of shapes on the equivalent stiffness of wire rope isolators is discussed detailedly. The numerical simulations of dynamic characteristics of structure system are conducted. The numerical results show that the dynamic characteristics of structure system using MR dampers have been promoted dramatically, and the feasibility and validity of MR damper used in high-speed shocking environments are testified.The vibration test mainly mensurates the transimissibility of power which is outputted by MR damper and the ability of controlling the vibrated displacement of main engine. The impact test mainly mensurates the influence of MR damper in the impact process. Through the experiment, we can see that MR damper has evident effect on impact reduction after being applied to control current.
