This paper study about the actuality and development trend of valve train in domestic and foreign,discuss on theory and methods of emulation analyse about gasoline engine' s valve train work process. Aim at 471QL gasoline engine,using determinated cam profile to accomplish emulation calculate of gasoline engine' s work process by advanced simulation analyse technic.Set up 471QL engine valve train system modle by advanced simulation analysis software and calculate kinematics behavior of the model.Analysing movement rule of the cam and its follower, we can set up more-mass system dynamic calculate model and calculate dynamic behavior of the valve train system with the model. From calculation result we find that the valve train system of 471QL engine is reasonable. Parameters are all allowable and can satisfy the require of using, besides, the numbers are according with AVL' s recommendation.Otherwise, basing on market research there will be some restrict on microbus motor in some towns. For satisfying the different requirements about engine emission,we decide to empolder type of 1. 3L(1. 302L) base on 468QL1 (1. 075L) engine. This paper discuss upon the valve train of DA471QL Engine, calculate the kinematics and dynamic behavior of flat-faced tappet using TYCON empoldered by AVL company. Through the result, we can validate that valve train parts we designed are reasonable.Its high speed capability also be proved can satisfy design rquest by capability test.This paper attempted audaciously on OHC(direct acting or rocker actuated) valve train configurations, it' s a successful experience not only on optimizing old existing engine type hut also on empoldering new engine type.
