There are two parts of the work in this article. Design a sunlight warm plastic sheep shed that could be fit for the growth of sheep in winter. Based on it, build a CFD model which can be applicable to simulate the circumstance of the sheep shed in winter. Then simulate the circumstance of the sheep shed in two modes of ventilation by using the software of CFD.The configuration of sunlight warm plastic sheep shed is made up of brick and timber, and there are only three walls of this room, the other one is opened to outdoor with a bottom half wall. The roof is a single slope, the opened part is enveloped with plastic film in winter to shut the room. The sheep room model is simulated by CFD technology, the realizable k-ε model is used to calculate the turbulent flow , the DO model is also used, and the space of sheep stayed is considered as porous medium. Three cases are simulated to calculate the temperature field and velocity field with outdoor temperature 265K and 258K, outdoor velocity 1.2m/s and 2.0m/s. The difference of the sheep-stayed-place room temperature and velocity is compared while consider the sheep-stayed-place as a body resource or porous medium.Computational simulation and comparative analysis reveal that the sunlight warm plastic sheep shed can make effective use of solar radiation in winter, raise the temperature and control it within the thermoneutral zone of livestock zone, so as to maintain the balance of thermal adjustment and reduce the consumption of the sheep, by the use of physical measures. The temperature of the sheep shed which only have louvers opened is higher than those have louvers and north windows opened, but lower air rate goes against reducing humidity and injurant concentration. The temperature of the sheep shed which have louvers and north windows opened is lower, but the air rate is increscent.
