With the development of technology and the world economy, the competition of manufacturing industry is becoming fiercer and fiercer, its focus is on how to meet the demand of customers, to fulfill the diversified need of market. The task of is server for other departments of the company. The viewpoint that maintenance technology is a science subject is widely accepted. The work of maintenance in domestic is steadily improving and enhancing, and there are many cross-sectoral, cross-department studies in this field. The maintenance industry has to set up a maintenance theoretical system to meet the needs of the modern industrial development.Equipment maintenance complex coefficient is proposed by people from the former Soviet Union, it is the product of. In the first five-year, our country launched a large-scale economic construction, also introduce the equipment management and maintenance system which comes from the former Soviet Union. Equipment maintenance complex coefficient has reference standards which have statistical significance, so it has certain significance for the equipment management and maintenance work of a company. However, equipment repair complex coefficient are still shortcomings in practical applications, as the basis of equipment repairing fixed quantity and maintenance capability, their error is too big. From the formula, we can see that for similar equipments, complex coefficients are lineally increased with the specifications, But in fact their complexity are not necessarily related to equipment specifications, therefore it can not completely reflect the complexity of repairing. And now most equipments'structure are electromechanical integration, this also makes it more difficult to accurately reflect modern equipment repair complex.Complexity science is proposed in the 1980s abroad, its areas are mainly on complex and complex systems. Complexity science studies are based on both the perspective of qualitative research and the quantitative of measurement. Hierarchical structure of the complex system has variety forms, the hiberarchy is a very important reason for the complexity of a system, is the complex source.Uncertainty can be measured by information entropy which comes from information theory, information is the important reason which lead to evolution of amount of complex systems. Rapid progress has been achieved on research of system complexity for the establishment of information entropy. Information entropy is a scientific method which can measured system complexity quantificationally .The reason why electrical equipment maintenance complexity can be measured by information entropy is that the progress of electrical equipment faulty diagnosis has its character .Hiberarchy is a key character of electrical equipment faulty diagnosis When electrical faulty occurs in the course of manufacturing ,electrical maintenance technician must judge and replace the failure part as soon as possible for the sake of renew manufacturing rapidly .It is needless to judge the weeny component when faulty occurs .It is difficult for electrical technician to judge the fault part and it is easy to replace the failure part .The progress of identify electrical failure is also the progress of choosing, analysis, judging, accepting and rejecting upon failure information. Electrical equipment maintenance complexity can be measured by information entropy because system complexity can be measured buy information entropy.In the law of triadic necessity and sufficiency ,one of the twenty laws of structure-based school's key theory, relations are characterized by the number of distinct relational components, but no matter how many such components a relation way have, the complex relation can always be expressed by component relations having no more than three relational components; but triadic relations exist that cannot be expressed in terms of dyadic and monadic relations. In the same time, the mathematics method is beneficial to express three-dimensional space.According to the progress of electrical failure diagnosis, complexity of failure diagnosis of PLC can be expressed by information transform complexity, relational complexity among failure factor and hiberarchy complexity of failure. We can figure out electrical equipment maintenance complexity based on entropy measure space of system complexity.Complex coefficient of electrical equipment maintenance can be measured according to theory of information entropy and model of entropy measure space, but we find that great discrepancy is existed between theoretical result and practical sense. The metrical method should be modified once more. The information entropy is modified and is proved strictly. The complex coefficient of electrical equipment maintenance is measured again, the fact indicates that the result is better than before. The increased degree of the complex coefficient is exceed that of failure hiberarchy.
