With the domestic passenger car market prosperity and the development of the freeway, China has more passenger cars, vigorously develop passenger car industry has become an inevitable trend. The body of passenger car is an important part of the whole body. The technology of body structure design not only affects the bus in the structure, but also to decrease energy consumption has a direct impact.The bus body structure developed from the original separate frame construction, used in the truck, to the semi-integral body, the body is the part of loading, and now the integral body is the most development style. In the integral body, the lower part and the upper part of the structure form an integral unit. When loaded, stronger parts cooperate with weaker ones, make the whole body shell to stabilize and balance. Therefore, if we can research the structure using the theoretical analysis and improve it, then get materials greatest potential, it is possible to sign such intensity spatial structure that has the minimum weight and the largest strength and stiffness.Body skeleton is the main load-bearing component, is the base of bus. Its structural performance will have a direct effect on the life of Body. The structure of the body should meet the overall layout request of the bus. The strength should be able to stand the maximum allowable static load and the dynamic load of normal operations. It also should have enough bending stiffness and tensional stiffness, so that the body skeleton of the bus always works in the normal state when the bus runs multiple operating conditions. From this point of view, the bus body structureanalysis is necessary.Lightweight and the rising of the safety requirements, bus body structure is developing in the direction of integral body. When design body structure we always take into account the functional and performance requirements, but in actual, there are contradictions between them. Therefore, for the structure of integral body, we can break conventionality and do some innovation. It has important reference value to the development of new models and the design of new load structure.Based two new high-grade integral body bus(style6127,6125s3) of one company, the paper analysis two innovative structures,one is the single carling structure, the other is five side windows and closed loop beam structure, which is discussing the mechanical properties of the closed loop section beams used in some domestic bus enterprises.The approach of the study in this paper: According to the new body structure concept we should complete the geometric model of the bus. Based on the functional body structure design criteria, this paper will re-arrangement many parts of the body, to confirm whether the new structure program meet the request of the body structure's mechanical properties, we will establish body skeleton model and deal with the load body using the finite element method, then judge the feasibility of the new program according to structural performance evaluation standards.The main purpose of the paper: do some creative exploration at the structure style of integral body. Then analyses the structure of two innovative programs using the finite element theory and evaluates its rationality, and provide the reference for the people engaged in the structural design of the bus body.To achieve these goals, the paper launched the following two aspects of the work:(1) first, based one new high-grade integral body bus (style6127) of one company, we publish a new body structure program:"the single carling structure", we design the new program based on the relevant standards of the body structureand function design requirements. In order to explore whether the structure of the program can meet the body structure of the mechanical performance requirements, we analysis body structure performance indicators (Strength, Stiffness, Modal) using the finite element theory, and then compare with the older style, evaluation the merits of the single carling structure and the feasibility of the program.(2) Second, based the other new high-grade integral body bus(style612S3) of one company, publish the program of five side windows and closed loop beam structure, according to conventional bus body structure design , the body cross-sectional closed loop can improve vehicle performance and the structure of side rollover safety , the style (6125S3 )bus using the program of six side windows, As the body structure size, the curved beams on the roof and two side columns and chassis beam not constitute a strong rigid closed ring configuration, in order to evaluate the influence of the closed-loop structure for the integral body's structure properties, using the finite element theory ,we analysis the body structure performance indicators (Strength, Stiffness, Modal), then compare with the older style, and provide the reference for the people engaged in the structural design of the bus body.
