The rise and application of computer-aided test (CAT) provides a nice future for characteristic test of pump. Electro-hydraulic proportional pump test is of very importance in scientific research and engineering. According to National Standard, the principle of hydraulic pump and the design criterion of hydraulic system, we have finished the CAT exploitation and research of electro-hydraulic proportional experiment table relying on the hydraulic element test system of hydraulic synthetic experiment table of hebei university.This test system is mainly made up of personal computer, pressure transducer with high precision, flow sensor, rotation speed and moment sensor, input and output interface board and signal modulating board at building experiment table. Among them, the computer is the whole core in the test system and is responsible for the whole control of test course and process, data analysis, display and collection. At the same time, we make a new attempt at the loading methods. The system is loaded different load by using two proportional overflow valves with different pressure. The computer controls the proportional electromagnetic iron to send out signal through this loading method. This method gets rid of the hand randomization, shortens the testing time and lightens the work of lab assistants.The software of test system is programmed by using the advanced DCS software-FIX DMACS. The measure and control system exploited by FIX can provide many passages datum which are collected, transmitted, processed and analyzed and the convenience for performance test and on-line examination of electro-hydraulic proportional pump, shorten the test time and raise the test accuracy. In the test process, experimenter knows each part's running and varying of system parameters at any moment by the X-Y diagram, the history curve and gathering table and graph output. This test system provides the technique for using and exploiting hydraulic element and system better. At the same time, it can save the signal source, oscilloscope and signal analysis instrument etc, reduce the test cost of experiment system, change the weakness of inconvenience and low accuracy etc in traditional test method.The CAT system of the proportional and hydraulic pump which is developed exploits the synthetic experiment table function of hydraulic element. In addition, it sets up a base for exploiting other experiments.
