| This paper introduces the basic structures and principles of the HVDC control system. Based on the control system of practical HVDC transmission project, on PSCAD/EMTDC platform, DC pole power control,convert control,tap changer control and reactor power control of the HVDC control system are set up. Applied to the CIGRE HVDC standard benchmark, the parameters of the PI-regulator are optimized, simulation and analysis in different modes,such as steady state,control models switchover,ac and dc system faults etc., and compared the HVDC control systems of this paper with CIGRE HVDC standard benchmark, proved that the HVDC control system of this paper has the ability to track the change of reference value. At ac and dc faults, control system will rapidly active and prevent faults, and force HVDC system come back to steady state. These prove the correctness of the simulation model. |
