The Development Of An Operation-Guidance Expert System For A 300MW Steam Turbine Starting-up Process

With the development of society and the rapid increase of electric consumption, it is the trend that large capacity steam turbine units take part in peak load operation, and this result in higher frequency of start-up and shut-down operation. Steam turbine's start-up operation is a process which involves numerous equipments and is complicated, faults are incidental because of chief parameters changed sharply during it. Once fault occurred, great loss will be endured. So an expert system which can guide operators to start-up steam turbine safely and economically is the goal of this thesis. In this system, online guidance which include operation guidance and fault detection guidance is offered according to unit's condition during it's start-up process.
