The aim of the automobile air conditioning cooling load calculation is not only to provide fundamental basis for the reasonable design, the choosing and matching of the air conditioning system, but also to explore the way to reduce cooling load through the calculation and analysis of all the components of the cooling load and the discussion of various factors on the cooling load. The accurate calculation of cooling load is an important link to guarantee the heat comfort, economy and matching ability of air conditioning system. Because the heat-transferring is a very complicated non-steady process, the real condition of the automobile heating will be more accurately reflected if the automobile air conditioning cooling load can be calculated through non-steady heat-transferring model.The present thesis has set up the mathematical model of the automobile body's heating transferring, and has deduced the heat-transfer function of the one-layer and multi-layers automobile. After the result is transformed into Z, Z function is obtained, the correspondent transfer function can be used to calculate the heat gain and cooling load of the automobile, and then the relationship between the heat gain and cooling load has been set up through Z transfer coefficient.On the basis of analyzing the heat balance, the thermodynamic model of the automobile has been founded, and various types of cooling load of the automobile has been analyzed, as a result, they provide the theoretical basis for improving the design and the thermal performance of the automobile.The present thesis also programs the non-steady cooling load, and calculates some sample automobiles, the results are in the reasonable limits. Moreover, through the analysis of the results, some measures of reducing the cooling load are put forward. In the meantime, the set-up model has been verified through the experiment system of the cooling load of the automobile air conditioning. The statistics from the experimental test are compared with the ones from theoretical calculation, and they fit each other well, thus the reasonableness of the set-up model and the accuracy of the calculation have gained verification.
