Electronic jacquard blended of the modern electronic technology, with the reference cam - needle structure can work with a very high speed without data board. Because of its simple structure, high-speed, and high-quality, it has been widely used at home and abroad. Currently, the electronic jacquard machines, which developed by American company Bonas, French Staubli and German Gross, are the most representative, while their price is too high for the majority of domestic enterprises to afford. Many domestic factories use microprocessor to control the jacquard, some other factories use embedded system or directly use PC-site as the controller. However, the performance and stability are disappointing when compared with foreign counterparts. besides, it cost a long time to input the data with floppy driver, the pitch and rubbish files which are produced by the frequent operation is also very boring.To solve the aforementioned problems that current domestic Jacquard meeted, A new method is presented to develop electro-jacquard MCS-51 based controller, including hardware and software. By changing the traditional floppy drive into USB interface , the input of the design data is much more expedient and rapid. Moreover, the design rows is unlimited in this way. Furthermore, our approach not only can protect the data at unexpected shutdown , but also produces no rubbish or scrap file in spite of frequent deletion and copy, which is ensured by the files manager system. Operation results show the effectiveness of our approach.W78E516B is used as microcontroller, including the extension of the external control signals (data, clock, latch enable) and some synchronization signals, with human-machine interface including LCD display, keyboard, USB input interfaces. The controllers can be connected with the PC through the serial communications when needed. At the same time, flash memory is used as electronic disk so that data store is safer, its expansion is easy, and new files management system produces no rubbish files. Through software technology a series of functions have been achieved including extraction, storage, transmission and calibration of data, besides, the the mode can be combined freely and cooperate with 672,134,2688-needle and any other kind of loom, which reduces production cost,improve the efficiency, and greatly increases the digital level of textile Jacquard control system.In the first chapter, the jacquard technology overview is outlined; the choice of development programs and the modules are introduced in the second chapter; the third,fourth,and the fifth chapter are the focus of this paper, hardware design, software design and anti-jamming design of the controller are described respectively; the last two chapters are operating results and analysis, and outlook.
