Hemming hydraulic press THP37-150A belongs to the product line control system. It is made for hem technical and for pull, bend and mould also. In order to meet the requirement of technical, the system should be adjusted in invariable velocity. At the same time, the system needs rapid response and high steady precision. But since the nonlinearity constantly variety and anamorphic characters of different moulds are difficult for PID controller which has fixed parameters to remain well tune up velocity in large scope. For the sake of solving the question of PID parameters been adjusted on line and the precision requirement, this article install the mathematic model which depends on hydraulic theory and system structure and design the single neuron adaptive PID controller which according to characteristics of the model to overcome the disadvantage that fixed parameter PID is difficult to adapt the variety of model parameters, while realize the accurate control of velocity.The article also study some other single neuron self-adaptive PID controller, specialize some controllers' arithmetic and application the single neuron self-adaptive PID controller to hydraulic system, while simulate the velocity control. According to the result we can see that single neuron self-adaptive PID controller easy to realize and has simple structure, preferable self-study, self-adaptive ability, better to outside environment.
