The Systems Construction Of Residential Community Outdoor Recreation Space

Community outdoor residential space is mainly concerned about three aspects: environment greening, visual image and public action psychology. The three aspects are complementary and indispensable. Since 1980s, community outdoor living space in our country has gradually received attention. From the very beginning we were paying much attention to environment greening, then to the visual image, and now, we turn to the principal idea of "people oriented" and pay more attention to public action psychology. About the first two aspects we have done many deep researches and received a number of study fruits, but in the field of "residents conduct activities", we have never made a deep research. So this paper is based on this point.The essay use the method of case investigation, choosing three representative communities in Shanghai to do detail research, and finally, it is drawn the systemic construction methods about outdoor residential communities open space recreation.Research is mainly from the aspects of residents' recreation. Firstly, through knowing the demand and action of residents, it is got that outdoor recreational crowd types primarily age-related, age differences of different communities resident population result in the inconsistency of the demand for outdoor recreational space; secondly, it is discussed the reasonable structure of outdoor space system and summed up that open space and outdoor walking distance related to space structure levels. Finally, it is explored outdoor living communities recreational space systemic construction methods and proposed that the overall concerning about the construction of layout, roads, green and hard quality bedding, space and facilities and to provide appropriate conditions for residents.In the direction of further work, the paper finally presented a brief discussion. In the finality, the problems requiring further studies are discussed.
