It is revealed in many documents that the whole hydrogen risk in the present large-dry containments is not primary because of the large free volume of containments and higher pressure resistance. But the local hydrogen risk exists because of the complicated structure of the com- partments and channels. Recently, many international organizations have been investigating local hydrogen risk with the commercial CFD codes, such as CFX, which acts as an assistance to Lumped-parameter codes in hydrogen risk analysis and supplies referenced data to design of hydrogen mitigation system and installation of hydrogen mitigation equipments. This thesis studies the hydrogen flow and distribution during LBLOCA accident with the CFX5.7 code, and analyzes the influence of factors on hydrogen distributionThe results indicate that, the hydrogen is prone to accumulate above...
