"Design of Ball&Plate system for position tracking based on pneumatic actuated"is part of the international cooperation programs in SMC–SJTU technology Center .The goal is to build Ball&Plate control system based on pneumatic actuated for laying out the performance of the pneumatic components, also for the course of control theory for undergraduate. The design of hardware, software and a series of test is introduced, we design kinds of controllers for this system and simulate in matlab environment. Then we apply the result in the real apparatus.Ball&Plate control system is a complicated nonlinear system. This thesis introduces the whole process on how to design the system. It's mainly divided in two parts: hardware manufacturing and software development. Hardware designing include the shell, switch, laying power supply, applying Touchscreen and PCI 6014 data grab card, also choosing the servo position system of pneumatic rotary actuated, which include Electro-pneumatic proportional valve and its servo circuit, Rotary actuator, cam carrier, displacement sensor.
