Research On Space And Environment Of Students' Living District Of University

With the development of our country and the improvement of social economy, the trend which expansion and universality of the higher education is inevitable at present. In recent years, there are so many universities of our country enlarge recruiting students, which educes constructing different scopes of students'living district in campus. The students'living district is an important part of university. It supplies residential space for students and well environment for students'association which is good for students'grow up. So it's necessary to take constructing excellent space and environment of students'living district seriously, and strive for creating comfortable environment for students.As we know, there is existing much shortcoming in students'living district of Chinese universities. The thesis analyses some living examples. We should learn experience from overseas about it and put forward some suggestion to resolve problems. How to construct comfortable space and environment of students'living district is the main purpose of the thesis, which includes the following:First, it elaborates the conception of the students'living district of universities. Based on it, the thesis discusses many-faceted manage model of rear service, and how to deal with the relation of university and city, the students'living district and university in reasonable ways, and how to construct the well space and environment of the students'living district of university on the basis of students'psychological and physiological characteristic, behavior characteristic and community characteristic.Second, it specifically goes further into the plan model, hierarchical structure, the arrangement and united ways of residential architectures. According to stratification of space, this includes outside space, inside space and space between them, and then it analyses three different kinds of association space above.At last, it expounds how to construct the space and environment of students'living district of universities, which covers four aspects: evaluation principle, surface space, form of courtyard space, developing tendency of students'residential architectures.
