The Finite Element Analysis Of Raft Foundation Considering The Effect Of Interaction Between Soil And Structure

Raft foundation is widely adopted nowadays. And the interaction of raft foundation, the soil and the structure is important in the analysis of raft foundation and upper structure. So the research of interaction of raft foundation, the soil and the structure can help us make the calculation more exactly. Then we can design the structure more economically and safely.In this thesis, ANSYS is used for making FEA analysis about the raft foundation. Some topics are discussed in this thesis such as how to choose the finite elements of thick plates. The influence of the interaction on the upper structure and the raft foundation is also discussed. There are some other considerations in the process: the rigid of the soil, the layout of the upper structure and the model of the groundsill. The nonlinear model of the soil is also discussed. At last, some rules and suggestion are given for design and research.
