The contribution of hydropower plant plays more important role in our country for the superior performance of hydropower resources and serious energy shortage. The ventilation designing for workspace is so important during the contribution of hydropower plant that the performance of ventilation including thermal environment and air distribution had direct effects on the efficiency of workers and the running of machines. This paper studies the main electrical wire hall which is a critical network basic cell during establishing ventilation and air conditioning systems network model of the underground excavation cluster of hydropower station by the way of CFD numerical simulation combined with model experiment, based on Xilongchi hydropower plant's ventilation model.This paper gains the main electrical wire hall impedance U under unheated condition by means of the main electrical wire hall model experiment. Then it gains the main electrical wire hall impedance U with different Re and Ar under heated condition. It gains the Ar extent which the main electrical wire hall impedance U has non-prominence difference under heated and unheated condition by means of the main electrical wire hall impedance U under heated and unheated condition analyse. Then it gains the impedance U one parameter line regression equation with Ar.The paper contrasts CFD numerical simulation result with model experiment result of the main electrical wire hall impedance of Xilongchi hydropower station, proves it is feasible and credible that gains the main electrical wire hall impedance by means of CFD numerical simulation. Then analyze the main electrical wire hall impedance and its influence factor under unheated condition by means of CFD numerical simulation. By means of analyse, from architecture structure point of view the main electrical wire hall absoluteness degree and channels inlet change have little effect on impedance, but stairs and fireproofing vent have more. Form equipment disposal inside point of view startup electrical wire and the amount of equipments and its disposal have little effect on impedance, but the amount of exhaust fans and its exhaust area have more. We gain different impedance U with certain Re and Ar under heated condition. Also we gain the impedance U difference under heated and unheated condition analyse.
