On the bases of theories and methods of structural optimization ,this paper utilizes the software ,ISIGHT ,to minimize the weight of special flat railway container vehicle body。The whole optimization flow transfers two emulators—ANSYS and HYPERMESH,make use of ANSYS to build the finite element model of the vehicle and HYPERMESH changes the position of the girder and ISIGHT will drive the ANSYS and HYPERMESH software。ISIGHT alters the design variable in the circulation till it finds the best design which conforms to the requirement of strength and rigidity。Aiming at the long time of huge project structure analysis ,this paper researches on the combination of test design and approximate model to decrease the size of optimization and shorten the optimization time ,utilizing the orthogonal test design ,find the 17 thickness design variables and 3 shape design variables which have greater effect on mass and rigidity ,and find the rude optimization result, Base on this, utilize the MIGA to find the global optimization result, it reduces the weight to 26 percent, but the rigidity has decreased a lot, to increase the rigidity of it, ISIGHT utilizes the NSGAⅡto optimize basing on the objectives of mass and rigidity, the optimization result is better than the MIGA ,and the NSGAⅡprovides a array of pareto results for designer so that the designer has more choices。This paper also tries to adopt the approximate model to replace the emluator and optimize basing on the approximate model, the result is not as good as the former two although it shorten the optimization time for its optimization process doesn't transfer the emulator。The production can give a reference to the design of vehicle bodywork ,and lay the foundation for further study about structure optimization technique in vehicle design。...
