From design, construction, supervision, trial operation, till its real operation, the realization of train operation control system is a systematic process. It's difficult to identify the faults in it for its great mass of work, its high cost and its complexity. So it's impossible to take long-term and comprehensive technical tests to improve the old railway line. But we can solve these problems through computer simulation techniques. A general city transit simulation platform can make the research on train control system more convenient. And it can offer credible data for system evaluation and system improvement. The application of computer simulation techniques to the test of city transit control system has been practical.Test is a time-consuming job, but proper testing methodology may increase the efficiency. So the hybrid testing methodology is introduced including generating and reducing the test-cases. Then the application of this methodology to the CBTC testing is made, and the test-cases are generated. The XML technique is applied to manage the test-cases, and is combined with computer simulation techniques to make a CBTC testing simulation platform. Other subsystems in train control system are also modeled in this dissertation.
